Mahatma Gandhi

The 139th anniversary of the birth of Mahatma Gandhi was observed yesterday at the Promenade Gardens. His statue was adorned by garlands at an early morning ceremony at which Prime Minister Sam Hinds spoke. The event was organized by the Indian High Commission.
