Singer Guyana Inc yesterday presented a cheque for $1M to Shellon Purlett.
Purlett is the first weekly winner in the Singer $20 million Christmas celebration promotion. When this newspaper asked what she intends to do with the money, the visibly happy Purlett replied “build a house.” Purlett bought a sewing machine and was given a coupon to fill.
