Double dive! This car PKK9649 and minibus BJJ 9267 plunged into the canal at the intersection of Garnette and Middleton streets some time before 3 pm yesterday, after colliding with each other. According to the driver of the bus he was heading west on Garnette Street and the car was heading south on Middleton Street when they collided and plunged overboard. The bus was carrying four passengers, the conductor and driver, while the car’s sole occupant was its female driver.  The passenger who was sitting in the front seat of the bus received injuries and was taken to the Georgetown Hospital for treatment.
