Fire codes? fire detectors, internal sprinklers? What are those?

It is only by the Grace of God that no one died or was seriously injured. I often wonder if they have an evacuation plan in case of emergency, be it fire, storm or fatman.

Well the PPP still on probation nah! Let us see how 28 years of PNC mismanagment will get blamed.

Quite telling videos and a bit terrifying at the thought that persons might
be amidst the conflagration.

Indeed time for a very large modern hospital with solid frames and
fire-proof materials.

I agree with Ricky that these aged wooden structures become easy fuel in the event of fires. Upgraded fire codes, fire detectors and, internal sprinklers should be mandated if these units are not replaced with more fire retardant architectures.

It is time to get rid of these many wooden aged old building in Guyana. Build a modern hospital. This is the opportunity. I’m glad that there is no injury so far.
