NGOs can make a big difference in improving the lives of poor and vulnerable members of the society, by helping them ot establish micro and medium businesses to lift them out of poverty and economic insecurity. It is always better to teach someone to fish instead of constantly giving them a fish ! Thanks should be extented to the USA and other countries and organisations, which are helping in a substantial way to bring improvements to the needy and impoverished communities.
