The deaths of wanted men Rondell ‘Fineman’ Rawlins and Jermaine ‘Skinny’ Charles, who have been identified as the perpetrators of a number of heinous crimes, should contribute to the reduction of the tensions within the society, the PNCR said in a press release.

The press statement acknowledges the success of the joint services in the killing of wanted men as a significant blow to the criminal gangs in Guyana. Further the party stated the defeat of these leading criminals should open new opportunities to address the crime situation in Guyana.

The PNCR said it remained opposed to the practice of extra-judicial killings but made it clear that it was not referring to the deaths of the two men as such a killing.

The party believes that in the long run only the successful implementation of a comprehensive national security plan to eradicate the root causes of crime will provide Guyana with a security environment conducive to peace, stability and development.

A request was made in the press statement for the Jagdeo PPP/C Government to take the required actions to bring to justice the killers of Ronald Waddell, Donna Herod and Marcyn King and to work diligently to ascertain the whereabouts of the many persons who have mysteriously disappeared.

The PNCR also expressed its wishes to reaffirm its unequivocal support for the fight against crime in all its forms and in all quarters of the society.

  7. Why our decent and coherent commenters / bloggers are psychologically debating among themselves, over what and over who ?
If you-all do not have a solution for problems, “please” do not approach or confront or embrace problems without a solution.
Let us, as overseas based Guyanese further advice and encourage our fellow Guyanese brothers and sisters to unite and to live in unity.
As we are having a young dignified and tolerant President, with much modesty and prudence to govern our unified nations. So please fellow overseas bloggers, Guyana grasses, are much more greener than yours in the USA, Canada and here in Europe.
Look over your shoulders and see Guyana is yet a much more peaceful country, compared to the outside world of Guyana.

Many pepole are speculating about where the millions in gold and cash are.
I’m sure Fineman didn’t take any secrets to his grave. His confidants know exactly where its buried, and are waiting for the chance to retrieve it.

I say this, because there was a famous case in which the main perpretators were hanged for robbery and murder.
I was told many years later that a prison warder became rich and famous after splitting the stolen loot with the relatives of the man who masterminded the crime.

I agree with you 100%.A few has contributed any sensible solutions to the problems of the country. It is about time sensible people stop flogging the racial/political dead horse.People on all sides have been hurt.It is time to start healing or else you will all be hunched over with baggage that will keep you in a miserable existance. It is not too late to change.
