Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry on Friday remanded a 30-year-old man to prison who allegedly raped a woman.
Lionel Michael, called Bish, of Lot 18 Bel Air Village, East Coast Demerara was not required to plead to the indictable charge of rape when it was read to him.
It is alleged that on May 30 the man had sexual intercourse with an adult female without her consent.
Michael was refused bail and the matter is to continue on September 22.

Doesn’t it take more effort to write in this manner than writing properly. I understand that you may be trying to duplicate the way we spoke in Guyana, but that was the way we spoke, not wrote.
