you know it bothers me when an “investigation” is carried out and then the DPP comes to a confusion that two right thinking and upstanding citizens are made to pay for what maybe have been some one else’s fault. I agree with the poster who said that Dale Erskine needs to resign for presiding over such nonsense… …pls dont think for one minute im saying that Niles deserved to die…no rather that these two gentlemen could not have done it and that they are being used as scapegoats to cover up for the real perps…but i guess thats Guyana.

Makes no sense flogging a dead horse. This man is totally ignorant of the laws of Guyana. I am not saying that Niles is not a criminal, that is why he is in prison (commonsense would have told you that Evileyes and the basic of it too) So please don’t ask me silly questions. You have declared the officers innocent, I guess the court would have to prove that (Niles did not get that chance).

Torbo asked a great question, ” If the Canadian police kill you for not stopping at a red light what would your family do?” You answer that one. Jumping a red light is equal to killing people with your vehicle.

EVILEYES ….i think the prison authority monitor those who keeps the gate when prisoner comes so u would know who allow ilegal stuf to past those r the ones to b treated that way ….tell me how can someone past security at a prison gate knowin what happen in 2001 feb 23 somebody is gettin pay who it is ?

EVILEYES, He was in prison for marijuana, he was taken to the Army Camp by supervisors of the prisons. Why? and who had live bullets hanging around like that. Who knows the truth! did he really had the bullets or was it planted on him? How do you think his mother feels to look at her son in hospital in the serious condition and they were prevented to see or speak to her son and brother by the Officers. Guyana has Human Rights, What is the Law in Guyana? No justice in Guyana.

Roger Khan was caught with an illegal spy equipment and he was set free. He ran away from the US Law why? and the Guyana Government knows and did noting. Thank god for America that justice being served.

i”m happy to see that these guys are charged, so that others in authority will learn. this is a turn that i never would believe will ever happen in guyana, democracy and respect for the law is taking hold, slowly we will get there although, there are mistakes along the way.

OWW MAN THESE two had to beat the man to kill him, prisoners are human being too, Nigel was arrested and serving time for possession of marijuana was to have been released this month, unforunately he met his death by two savage. I hope justice is serve and these two put where they belong.

petal, a word to note…
in Forums like this, there are aways a few who do two things because of their
shortages:

1. they deliberately take queer opinions and refuse to be thoughtful
and serious in the ensuing discussions, simply to be noticed

2. I cannot detail the second one for the Moderator would “axe” me !
.. but just fil in the gaps when you hear two ignars quarrelling.

EVILEYES im with you on this one, the officers tried to prevent another jail break, I compliment them for a job well done , maybe they saved a lot of lives although I sorry that Niles has to pay with his life, I pray that the officers go free.

What are the fact? He was a criminal right? He was in prison right? He took bullets into the prison compound right? If this is not correct then dont attack and blame me..blame the media for putting this out….how many hurting moms there are is all of this madness? How many more hurting moms there would have been had these two heros not stop Niles from breaking out of prison? Think before you trash anyone again……

Techinically the Prison Service is a part of the JS. I’m afraid that these two will be made examples of to satisfy the public. The JS has been subjected to a lot of accusations of their lack of fairness and professionalism and these two are already convicted before the trial.

You should get your facts before posting comments. Do you have the slightest idea what happened. Dont allow a hurting mom and the media to play tricks with your imagination. Those officers are very deligent and professional ranks but as always there must be a “scape-goat”. God Bless and Protect his Children.

So what happen to the rule of law that you keep harping about that does not exist in the US? Niles should hape payed the consequences under the laws of this land not to be ‘lynched’ by prison officers.

These two gentle guyss should be free and will be free..They were just doing their job and preventing another jailbreak thus saving theirs and other lives as well….Niles had bullets on his possesion….bullets for a gun already in the prison..enough proof that they are ready willing and able to kill to get out of prison.
