I used to be so proud to say I am from Guyana but its a shame and disgrace to know what a corrupted country the Govt has made it into. . We always have hope that we could stand up and say I am a Guyanese but it seems every thing is bleak and there is no hope , The Govt should be ashamed to know what they has turn the counrty, to the most corrupted country in the world. When you leave power what would be your legacy? aand dont forget God is watching from a distance.

i am every year in guyana, i am guyanies don,t matter what
happen in guyana i am proud to be a guyanies, we are one
people one destanie, i all ways help my people in guyana, i do
not pay bribe to no one, if i have to get some thing done, i allway,s wait my turn, i am very pation when i go in to a office,
you see if people use drugs they don,t have the time to wait their
turn, i do not use drugs, and i do not drink . so mr moore i see
a lot where i am , and guyana has not come close, where corrup is
concern. no body does get rid of their good ones and take some body
bad ones. so guyana bad or good it is my own
indian, african guyanes, porteguyies, chinies , buck , all thoese who borne

evileyes; your intentions are good and should be commended in terms of your charitable work.
However, helping poor and vulnerable families to set up micro and medium businesses; rearing of goats, sheep, ducks, chickens or with a skill/trade – making furniture, concrete blocks, hairdressing, baking and food production and sale etc; can go a far way in preventing many of these poor children from ending up in these orphanages.
By teaching and helping the poor and needy to fish, removes the need to constantly give them a fish.
This will aslo help to remove the need for charity and government ‘handouts’.
Just something I am exploring to do myself and and though I should share with others.

What in the world does the PNC have to do with this? I have neither seen nor heard of any PNC-related statistics on corruption.

You probably stand alone on this one; I do not think that anyone else is so naive as to try to blame the PNC for the declared and obvious shortcomings of the PPP.

I hear you Forbes Moore, ok, figure out this one, 5.3 thrillion dollars were robbed from the American people, and they now have to pay in back.
