Who knows what ’s going on in the mind of an individual .
It’s sad and disgusting that so many young people are just killing themselves.

  3. Get Real UNITED STATES says:

I am very sorry to hear about that teenager’s death, they need to investigate the uncle first and then her friends at school to see if she mentioned anything to them concerning having any problems at home, with a boyfriend or at school.
Guyana needs to have programs for women and children that are abused, having problems at home or at school. The people that are going to have to do this kind of job should have the knowledge to counsel them and keep their info private.
Too many teenagers are committing suicide now in Guyana and it needs to be looked into right away before we lose more kids, remembers that they are our future generation and we have to pay keen attention to what they are going through and give them all the supportthat they need so that they can and would want to share their problems with us as parents, friends, relatives or a counselor.

  4. Gtdonna BERMUDA says:

Sad indeed! There had to be a reaosn why this teen felt she no longer wanted to live. If it was sexual abuse, in many cases when teens and children try to tell their parents or guardian they are not believed and the first thing you will hear is “That can’t be true, so and so will never do such thing” and then the child have to face further emotional abuse from parents as well as the physical abuse from the person commiting the act.

It si so sad that there is no kind of hotline these teens can call for help. No place they can run to for comfort and protection, secure in the fact that if they confide in another adult they will be taken seriously and whatever the problem is will eb dealth with.

All I can do is shake my head.

anyone who want to take them own life let them do it!!! i will NEVER save anyone who freely taking them own life….them want to die so it be.

    • Michelle 30 UNITED STATES says:

This is a very ignorant thing to say, because if a person let you know that they want to kill themselves that means that they are crying out for some kind of help, and for you to say that is wrong. If your son or daughter or son come to you and say “dad i want to kill myself” what would you do tell them to go ahead and do so , please sometimes people cries out for help in different ways some get the help they need some do not get it ,so don’t be so cold hearted for we never know what someone is going through. We all handle situation differently what you might be able to take ,i might not be able to take ,so just be compassionate.

    • lisin she is my cousin. u are such a cold hearted person. u should get a taste of ur own medicene. u r so self centered. i totally agree with michelle 30

    • UltimateW CANADA says:

Bro, You got it wrong man. There,re a lot of people with problems that’re unimaginable .Regardless of old or young and they need help. It ’s more complecated than you imagine. It’s the complexity of the human mind Sean.

You ever wonder why there’re psychologists & psychotherapists ?

  7. gtman2008 BARBADOS says:

i agree with with tiger the uncle should answer some question. she should be examine because i geuss she is not crazy to take her own live unless she was getting problem.

  8. a person UNITED STATES says:

    • michael drepaul UNITED STATES says:

Interestiing analogy…hope the case is brought to light so we can stop trying to solve the mystery of the untimely death of this girl.

  9. Debbie CANADA says:

After the village stops gossiping about this dear child , I sincerely hope the police will do an investigation and not close the case file on suicide. For each suicide there is a solid story behind it. Circumstances beyond one’s control, over whelming feelings of sadness and hopelessness over come our rational thinking process and we see death as the only way out. I’m extremely saddned by this child’s suicide and prays that she finds peace in God’s kingdom.

  10. Gaoler UNITED STATES says:

I am surprised that there was no mention of the police at the scene, only that of the undertakers removing the body and no doubt removing any evidence left at the scene. Anytime a death occurs in that fashion, the uniformed authorities should first secure the scene and treat it as a crime scene until proven otherwise. There are too many times that perpetrators manipulate a crime scene to resemble sucide when in fact it’s a homicide
