People don’t give up on Guyana so fast.Check out what is going on in Africa on the BBC news.Hundreds and Thousands,and Millions of our African Brothers and Sisters And Children are being slaughtered daily.weekly and yearly.But you are’nt being shown that in the news,Or what the Mexicam Mafia is doing in Mexico,or What is going on in central America.There are many other countries worst off and much more
dangerous than Guyana.Of course,you won’t know this ,unless you follow world news.God is in control.not to worry.Prophesy must be fullfilled.
God is working on a universal shake up.Every country is being touched.
Not Guyana alone.Crime is everywhere.In Africa,it’s tribe against tribe(blacks killing blacks-Christians against Muslims).

Well, Filano de Tal what can i say i will be going home in time to come. I have no intention of living here forever like some Guyanese who reside here now they vowed not to return to Guyana. That is just crazy. You cannot forsake the old for the new and like the Guyanese saying goes “Nah cruse the bridge you cross on”. For you may never know when you have to go back. I’m just overhere because my husband reside here so i have to be with him.
I’m not saying that you don’t love your country perhaps you do. We Can’t be playing the blame game. What we need to do is work together inorder to make things work.

It’s good to grieve; it’s even good to criticize. But after the grieving and criticizing we must go on and plan how to avoid or at least diminish such occurences in the future.

Now, lets examine some parameters:
Parika is the fastest growing town in Guyana, and perhaps in the Caribbean. It is quickly replacing Bartica as the gateway to the interior.

Like ALL ad hoc townships, it lacks fundamental infrastructure – central sewerage, security to name two.

One of the main fallacies of third world democracy, and definitely a bastard legacy of slavery/colonialism is that we overly depend on the government for our bread, butter, security etc, etc. Some go so far as to expect Jagdeo to fill every pothole and dig every drain infront of our houses…

Having said that, shouldn’t the “Parika Chamber of Commerce” or the Regional Office organize/ discuss security issues and implement measures in complement to those of the Security Forces to insure that this potential township is not strangled in its infancy? Should they explore and hire private patrol/security firms? Should they install cameras along the highway? These are so cheap these days…

BASICALLY, ALL WE NEED TO DO IS TO THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX IN ORDER TO KEEP ONE JUMP AHEAD OF THE CROOKS. When all of think alike, no one thinks at all, says the Vatican.

What make you think America has bed of roses? If you don’t work you can’t eat ,no one will just knock on your door with a plate of food. Anyway you go any part of this world the same thing applies if you nah wuk you dead. Guyana is a very beautiful country rich with many natural resources. Many beautiful people of all kind. So for all you so-cal Guyanese who bad talking your own country, how can you do that. I am so proud to be a Guyanese. I love my country i can never talk like that about Guyana , crime is everywhere you go. not only in Guyana. Just name a country that doesn’t have any crimes……. !!!!! Just let me know if u find one.

Soldier I am Guyanese and I love the Good old days when disipline and respect for each other was enforced by all members of communities in Guyana when i was a kid growing up , don’t play you are blind with what is going on in the Country the truth hurts and i understand your feelings ,how can your President come to America and tell people to go invest in Guyana without telling people of the risk involved . good luck to all investors at the top of this page is a dead investor and many more have shared the same faith like Mr Roberts.
