for all those who are putting the woman downyou have not walked one day in that woman,s shoes.i was abused physically and i am not stupid nor financally dependent.i will not pass judgement you have to look deep down into every individual circumstance.she is now seeking help.she would know when it is enough.when domestic abuse in reported to some police station the same people who shold help are sometimes the fiends of the abusers.they tell you to go home and make up.we in gt need to find ways to help .they are also women who are the abusers and the men feel ashamed to let people that they are being abused.

I would like to delieve that she has been abuse for 5 years and without communicating with her family .What was her sister doing there because she was also assulted also. Beside he has a business to run i am sure she does not have a personal body guard. In my openion this is all financial motivated that is why she hang around. out on bail, wow, what happen to a restraining order, abuse women stay with their men because of fear, how dare the judge ask him if he behaved the way he did because he was scared that someone would take his woman away, that judge needs training on domestic violence, feel sorry for the girl, one day she’ll meet a good man and would think he’ll abuse her too, she’s emotionally, mentally and even physically scarred for life

abuse women stay because of fear, or he probably threatened to kill her or family members if she tried to escape, even if he was granted bail, there should have been restraining order, and the magistrate turns around and ask him, ” are u scared, that someone will take her away from u, that’s why u behave like that” what a stupid question, that magistrate needs training on how to deal with domestic violence

Its really funny sometimes when u listen to some abuse accusation …..it seems so impossible at times to read even to understand these situation that some women are lock under ……did she really mean to say that the house doesn’t have a phn for 5 yrs or is she sayin that the foolice did answer her call for that period of time …..then again she seems helpless so she had to put up with what ever comes to her, there are so much of to deny her alibi cus really don’t make any sense …..anyway glad that u are out of prison after serving ur 5 yrs for bein patriotic …..guess u learn a valid lesson to sweat for ur bread and feel free do whatever u want to do ……Peace Out

well u sure sounded like one lambada,fear is one reason why this woman did’nt try to escape her husband’s clutches, she felt secured in court being around people, thats why she was able to speak about her abuse, this man’s house became a dungeon for this woman who was fearful for her life.

Allison my dear it’s easy for you to live in Canada and say she begged for that kind of cruelty. Regardless of sex, who beggs to be abused? Who deserves to be abused and why? This sort of mentality condones abusive behaviours and do nothing to help those afflicted.

We do not know the personal circumstances except what we have read here. So many aspects may have contributed to her being held hostage to this abusive relationship. Isn’t it commendable that she finally broke free of her tormentor and is free to live a life she trully deserves?

I wish her Peace and Happiness and hopes she has a fullfilled life!

I guess! My father put his hand on my mother and that was all he wrote and that was when I was back in Guyana as a young un way back. She was a simple girl and she almost bruck he neck. Now we talk and laugh about it. But I told myself back then and now that ain’t no one putting dem hand on this one. First time, fool on you, second time, fool on me. Quite frankly, I think she was begging for that kind of cruelty.
How come she finally break away? what he could have done to her way back then , he can still do to her now………….
