…… knowing how the body operates “is” life saving ! ,, i was ,, in Gy ,, a few years back when i observed some strangeness ,, i hurriedly made flight reservation that broght me back home ,, where ,, my hunch saved my life !……

getting to my age ,, is not thru ,, the act of ignorance , ! ….

as for passing any info to me abt anything to do with Gy ,, is cool with me ,, cos i’m overly qualified to deal with anything that has to do with the governance of GY at any level ,, in any of the disciplines required for progressive ,, economic development of the nation ,, with transparency and inclusiveness of all ,, like my President elect said ,, i’m the “boss” in the partnership ,,, and i will make the decisions on how the development is handled for the greatest good of all GUYANESE !……

the fundamentals ,, for a people ,, is water,, light ,, roads ,, health and education ,,
all else will take shape when the infrastructure is in place for the people ,, to make use of these for the growth and development of the nation and themselves ,,

Bloggers, it’s not rocket science to figure out to install propane powered generators, when there is a loadshedding ..oooops[ blackout],also why the hospital does not have their independent water supply? With all the funds thats splurging around, its easy to install a well for this instituation which is very vital in the interest of berbicians. I have worked on six [6] well sites in the late 60′ & early 70′ that was drilled & erected by Amelco Western Inc. of Maryland. Now i don’t know if any is still functioning.Gross mismanagement. That’s the order of the day. So sad.

WOEFUL THIS MODERN TIME WE ARE BACKWARD GOIN. JUST PUMP WATER FROM BERBICE RIVER MAN. LAND OF MANY WATER AND WE CANNOT GET IT FOR A PLACE SO IMPORTANAT AS HOSPITAL. BULL FOOT. INCOMPETENT LEADERS WE HAVE . LET WE GET DE MONEY FROM CARIFESTA AND PUT AWELL IN THE COMPOUND.SHAMEFUL BUT DOES GUYANA REALLY EXIST IN PRINICIPLE OR IS IT MY IMAGINATION GOTTEN DE WORST OF ME.

Is this GY or some fictitious country that I’m reading about? No! It can be! Has the Brickdam lockups now located in the New Amsterdam Hospital? And they have built a bridge that will soon open. If there is a serious accident on that bridge…is this the hospital they will take the injured to? If so, consider yourself DOA. Put Mr. Bynoe in charge so that he can use his “God-given talent and intelligence” to work with like-minded persons to ensure that Guyana emerges a better country” His quote not mine..…he seems to have the “right approach.”

This is just ridiculous. You mean to tell me in this day and time that A HOSPITAL does not have water for people especially those who’re doing surgery. Ministry of health should be ashamed and GWI also , it’s about time guyana stop having blackouts and water shortage, we’re not that bad off for stuff lie this to happen , Guyanese citizens deserve better.

Did they build this hospital in front of the mad house. Let the patients at Mental hospital run the NA hospital. They can Find better solutions than those doctors and nurses. Water Water Water everywhere and cannot use. My town and village is being destroyed by a bunch of wasteful officials. shame on them.

I think NA is the worst place when it comes to potable water. As far as the new hospital is concerned – this is the second incident in less than one month involving surgeries and patient care. In November it was the oxygen supply malfunctioning resulting in the death of a young girl. Ministry of Health – are you taking note? An institution with too many incidents of negligence and bad management is not fit to serve the public. That place would have been cited already and given a warning (had it been the US) to shape up or ship out. But what else can we expect – its anything goes and the people living there have to suffer. No running water, no flushing toilets?? I would stay away from there if its not a real emergency situation. BTW, the old hospital never had these problems.

I guess the past 28 yrs of PNC rule are to be blamed for this kind of shameful/disgraceful development in THE LAND OF MANY WATERS. Shame on you PNC ……………. oh, is nah di PNC runnin di country …………… is hooooo? Di PPP/C!! How long deh runnin it now???? WHAT ABOUT THE DEMEARA RIVER , THE CANJE RIVER AND THE ESSQUIBO RIVER.

……N/A hosp,, is a few hundred yards from the canje river,, where at certain distances up ,, the water is constantly fresh ,, but black ,, pipes laid from the river ,, with a pump and a storage facility for pure colourless water ,, for the hosp is POSSIBLE !…… somehow not with this govt !….

i remember what my mom used to say — each time Miss Pitt come to complain abt seeing me in she mango tree — ” ah fed up with him ,, Miss Pitt “! ,, ,,,,,,

everyday there is something that for the govt of GY ,, requires rocket science !

“ah fed up wid dem !… is nat de same ting meh muddah used to seh ,, but is de same feelin” !……..

i endured more than my fair share under king kong and de bully !…. and quite frankly ,, i’m fed up ! with all the solvable issues in GY today which is from a lack of very simple solutions to correct them ,,
