Mr Osafo Modibo has suggested that the AFC should support a bill in Parliament that will deal with ancestral lands and give respect to Africans’ right to property ownership. He urges that Parliament must pass laws to formalise land titles for lands bought by our ancestors after slavery.

I support Mr Modibo’s sentiments, but can he let us know what are the lands which our foreparents bought after slavery and what has happened to those lands.
