Dear Editor,

On the morning of January 15, 2008 I was looking at the Good Morning Show on ABC, when a feature was aired on a man with the name Brad Williams, who has what is termed, ‘superior memory.’ Quizzed on the details of personal and national events of many years past, his recall was, in one word, uncanny. His friends regard him as having ‘a memory like google.’

I looked at him and immediately my mind reeled back to the streets of Georgetown and a man who had a similar recall. I think he was referred to as ‘memory man.’ I remember him as an emaciated fellow with a missing incisor
