Dear Editor,

More than two weeks have passed since my letter captioned “The TUC President should respond herself to the issues raised” (08.01.22) was sent by you to Ms. Gillian Burton, President, Guyana Trades Union Congress for a comment. There has been no response and it is now reasonable to conclude:

Ms. Burton does not care to respond to the issues raised and

The letter writer, Ms. Samantha Ali, may be speaking on her behalf.

It would be heartening to have a response signed by Ms. Burton. However, if she thinks it fit Ms. Ali can pen the response. Workers need answers.
