Dear Editor,

I read your article on pit bulls and I find it very disturbing that someone would let loose a dog on children playing, especially pit bulls.

Surely this person is very irresponsible and should feel the full force of the law, if there is any.

I am a dog owner, I love dogs but dogs such as pit bulls are very aggressive, unpredictable and are bred for one purpose only and that is to kill.

I believe the masses are not aware of how dangerous this breed of dogs is and must be educated on the dangers. In Toronto and many parts of the world, pit bulls are banned or are tightly controlled.
