On Easter Monday I listened on NCN as one of the announcers explained the origin of the kite.

What the person did not say and probably she does not know is that the singing engine kite is 100 per cent Guyanese. Yes Mr Editor, the singing kite was developed in British Guiana, just like the bucktop……
