Dear Editor,
I had the opportunity to read the Guyana Police Force web page at http://www.guyanapoliceforce.org/. I am impressed that they have a web page but something is wrong with the home page. I humbly ask readers to go to the website and comment on the pictures because something just does not look right.

I do respect the attempts by the creator of the website but can we have some pictures of Guyanese police officers?

The police force is over 150 years old and it should be more aware of its position in the Guyanese society as a Guyanese institution and not to accept wholesale what the consultants dump on them. It is a matter of national pride.

Yours faithfully,
Sasenarine Singh
