The entrance/exit road to Republic Park (phases 2&3) and Continental Park is almost impassable to regular vehicles. This situation has been with us for some time despite complaints to the council.

Repairs were carried out some months ago, but unfortunately they lasted just a few weeks and the road was in a worst state afterwards than before, with the result that we have some craters that can damage your vehicle. The heavy vehicular traffic (estate trucks) which traverse the road almost daily during the crop season and others carrying building materials have also adversely contributed to the deterioration of the road and some measures must be put in place to prolong the life of the road.
There are also inner roads in a state of disrepair including Jones Street.

Some of us are not fortunate to have 4WD vehicles so it is my request that you approach the region on our behalf for some relief before the rainy season.
