I refer to a letter from a reader, Mr Vaidram Persaud (‘What is the status of the Leonora Park cricket ground?’ SN, 3.5.08) that was sent to me for comment.

Some time in July of 2007 the Guyana Sugar Corporation Inc received an undated letter from Mr Mohamed Irfaan Ali titled ‘Renovating and Managing of the Leonora Park.’ In the letter he requested that Guysuco allow a broad-based management committee to be formed consisting of the following:…..
