Editorial was not unbalanced

Dear Editor,
I have seen some comments in response to your editorial of May 18 captioned ‘Normality?’ I thought the editorial was essentially fair and balanced in its criticism and that there was use of reasonable logic in making the arguments.

In fact, it is refreshing to see criticism that ex-tends beyond government, which is the common target, to other players on the political landscape.

Fair and balanced criticism, regardless of who is the deserving object, can only help society to mature and improve, even as it may sometimes be difficult for persons attached to a situation or the facts to take criticism easily.
Yours faithfully,
Macsood Hoosein
