I am prepared to take the lie detector test

Dear Editor,

The Daily Chronicle of June 10, 2008 published a letter written by one T. King – headlined `What about lie detector for the Opposition’, in which my name was mentioned.

Let me make it clear and for public record that I am prepared to submit myself to any lie detector test, first to debunk the scurrilous association of my name with the alleged two hundred missing weapons – and over time the other propaganda that the spin doctors have been busy disseminating.

My offer to submit to a lie detector test by professional technicians is predicated on the condition that at the same time, the names of persons I will submit; subject themselves also to a lie detector test.

Some of the questions will revolve around Roger Khan, The Sun Chapman tragedy, the Abrahams fire, the use of Lotto funds and the amount of monies in overseas banks by certain high officials, and their family members.

This will be a useful prelude to a truth commission and the Commissioner of Police ought not to be excluded to say if he knows where is the electronic equipment, high powered guns and ammunition that were found on Roger Khan, and others on the East Coast in December 2002.

And further is it in use? And if he does not know where they are to whom did he surrender these things.

Let the truth and nothing but the truth prevail. One of the persons to put on the list, Mr King, will be our High Commissioner to India and former Minister of Home Affairs.

Yours faithfully,
Hamilton Green J.P.
