Father Rose will be remembered

Dear Editor,

On Monday, 6th June, 2008 hundreds attended the funeral service of the late Fr. Michael Rose at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Please allow me to pay tribute to this great son of the soil.

I knew Fr Rose for over 22 years. He was our parish priest at St Theresa’s R.C. Church.

Christianity has thousands of saints from all areas and ages of the religion and I am sure that many would agree with me that Fr. Michael Rose was indeed one of them.

A saint is a person who lived an especially good life that is Fr. Michael Rose.

Michael was indeed a saint he will always be remembered for his powerful contributions.
May his soul rest in peace.

Yours faithfully,
Paul Ramlochan
