Dear Editor,

Five years ago the American Government told the world that Saddam Hussein and Iraq possessed weapons of mass destructions. What a spectacle did Colin Powell present to the Congress of America, which allowed George Bush to wage a now never-ending war in Iraq with great loss of lives and untold damage. Today, this very US Government, in a recent report is claiming that there is “trafficking in persons” in Guyana. How credible is this report, since we can now see that there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. What we have in Iraq today are weapons perpetuating mess and mass destruction.

I urge the Government not to be intimidated by this so called report. Demand credible proof!

Yours faithfully,
Brian Singh
