Dear Editor,
I have read Mr. Bisnath’s letter captioned “Why chastise someone who is rescuing abused animals?” (08.08.07)  and I strongly support him for speaking up for Ms. Syeada Manbodh’s  good  works for  abandoned animals. These animals can’t defend themselves against the abuse of us humans.

I’m a animal lover here in New York  and sometimes my heart aches to read how human beings can be so heartless.  Many times I have read Ms. Manbodh’s letters about rescuing abandoned or abused animals which were left behind.  I admired her for her great courage and even tried to contact her at the GSPCA.   I pray that someday  I can join forces with her to stop this abuse against innocent animals in Guyana.
