Private hire is also a breach of insurance

Dear Editor,
With respect to the new law that prohibits music of any sort in public transport I respect the law but the police department and the insurance officials should also look at the amount of private motor cars that are presently employed in taxi service working private hire. The cost of the licence and insurance for the private car is far less than that of a hire car. The private car working private hire is also a breach of the insurance policy.

These private car drivers are not experienced for their licences are less than two years old so the persons  they transport are  at risk.
Yours faithfully,
(name and address supplied)
