I refer to a letter with the title ‘Management of the .gy domain has fallen by the wayside’ in the Stabroek News of August 21, with the name and address listed as provided to Stabroek News.

Please note that although the University of Guyana is closed for asbestos cleaning, the management of the .gy domain has been unaffected. All transactions with respect to the registration of .gy domains are done online as per information provided on the .gy domain website (registry.gy)

On a daily basis, over ten requests for domain registration services are being handled (registration of new domains, modifications of existing domains and queries relating to .gy domains)
