Polished performance from the Trinidadians

Dear Editor,
I am writing to say how impressed I was with the Trinidadian presentation at the NCC on Saturday night. It was a polished performance and I appreciated how much effort went into it, from the glossy programmes to the obvious hours the performers had to put into producing such an excellent muscial show. In addition to popular classical pieces there were two pieces composed by young Trinis who I believe were playing in the orchestra – please note that the people have elevated their music from using left-over oil barrels to the G pans which were designed by their local engineers! That must be a wonderful example for Caribbean people to emulate.

I must say I noted quite a few high ranking PNC party members and feel it was petty minded of them to try and dissuade people from attending.
Yours faithfully,
