Dear Editor,
I wish to draw to the attention of the organizers of the Carifesta closing ceremony an unsuitable event which could have been held elsewhere. I am referring to the noise of the fireworks which reverberated around the environs of the community. No advance notice was given.

The area is too densely populated and the noise was once again a real nuisance to our pets, not forgetting the aged. I would suggest that the venue which is commonly used on Old Year’s Night be reverted to in future. Congrats however for a successful Carifesta X.
