Good Hope NDC not giving me letter so property could be transferred

Dear Editor,
I have been subject to frustration and stress. The reason is that I asked the Good Hope/Pomona Neighbourhood Democratic Council for a letter stating that all taxes has been paid to date to Lot Section ‘G’ Number 27 of Huis’T Dieren Essequibo Coast. And to date none has come forward.

From since 4.9.08, I went to the council meeting and was told that the next day it would be available. But none has reached so far and I went back and asked again and was told the Chairman was in Georgetown and don’t know when he would return to sign the letter and when it is signed the overseer would send it with the voucher.

I would like the President to know that the next trip that he takes to New York I would not leave my job, or house to come and hear about Guyana’s Grow More Food campaign or investing in Guyana. I am a resident of the USA, also a resident of Trinidad and Tobago. The property that I am asking for is in my mother’s name.

I just want that letter, so that a transfer could take place in my name and the authorized lawyer could start preparing the papers for my transport.

I have two more weeks to put things in place, and if this cannot happen well then I would pack and move back to the USA and Trinidad and be out of stress.
Yours faithfully,
Rudolph Raghubar
