Poems were a delight

Dear Editor,

The article in the Sunday Stabroek of October 26, captioned ‘The complex value of
the word’ by Dr Ian McDonald is a refreshing piece of writing.

Poetry lovers, of whom I am one, neglecting the wide world of poetry from a variety of poets, have been led by Dr McDonald to consider moving from “favourite known poets” to the delightful poetry of poets unknown to them.

Thank you Dr McDonald for those three poems − a delight to read indeed.

Yours faithfully,
Krishna Nand Prasad
