Potholes and mosquitoes in Roxanne Burnham Gardens

Dear Editor,

In Marigold Street (Roxanne Burnham Gardens), potholes are emerging, motorists and pedestrians have to tread carefully, especially during night time. Casuarina Street (Roxanne Burnham Gardens) was extensively damaged by a hymac 15 years ago during the desilting of a canal. There is CID Brickdam’s inability to arrest and prosecute a known trunker for the theft of a sum of money from a locked and parked vehicle on July 29, 2003; the excuses given by the honourable detectives are lamentable.

Then there is the ever increasing army of mosquitoes in Roxanne Burnham Gardens, despite the fogging exercises; a reconnaissance of the alleyways and drains will reveal the reason.
These are the things that bother me.

Yours faithfully,
CS Vaughn, MSM
Major (rtd)
