Dear Editor,
Recently posted in a blog is a picture of the deteriora-tion of the old New Amster-dam hospital.
This is a wonderful building and probably one of the largest wooden buildings in the world. If left in that state it would ultimately collapse.

The town council and the government should look into viable ways to maintain it. Maybe it can be used as a mall, or a small business factory or a private university. Whatever it is used as, it should be economically viable as it has to be sus-tainable.

It would be shame if the building fell down and history with it.
Yours faithfully,
P Rampersaud
