Dear Editor,
I am certain that minibus fares will not be reduced to previous levels now that the price of fuel has dropped.

Simple solution. Remove the instant windfall in profits from the minibus operators. Tax the fuel so that the price goes up to just under one-thousand dollars a gallon. Use the revenue garnered for the benefit of all by the provision of better services where appropriate.
All will be satisfied and happy.
