What are the gods doing to us now?

Dear Editor,
Despite three court orders against GPL, I have never before gone to press and have tried not to open the matter to public view, just to help GPL so as not to bring it to public ridicule.
I recall in the late Forbes Burnham’s rule, when the blackouts were incessant, we used to say: “Those whom the gods wish to destroy they first make mad.”

Now, today, November 10, 2008 at my office, 172 Light and Charlotte Streets, Bourda, we had blackouts five times. Ten times we had to shut down the payroll and billing system to accommodate the generator being switched on and off. From 11am to 3pm I have been trying to type a letter, an important one, and cannot get to complete even one paragraph.
What is it that the gods are doing to us in this time and age?
Yours faithfully,
Roshan Khan
