At last action on public transportation!

Dear Editor,
I have read the article captioned, ‘Cops charge 69 touts,’ in your November 26, 2008, issue.
Now we are going somewhere!

With the ban on loud music in buses and legal attention focused on touts, the car park and travelling should be less confusing, stressful and dangerous. Finally, order is being promoted in this sector of  society.  Congratu-lations to all concerned in this social clean-up. Please keep it up. And don’t allow the offenders to come up with new and creative ways to unleash other forms of abuse on society. Expose them to meaningful alternative choices. I hope thought has been given to providing opportunities for training and that meaningful employment is available to them.
Yours faithfully,
Pastor Kwesi Oginga
