Dear Editor,

So we read in the SN of 7.12.08 that there was almost a mid-air plane accident back in October between a Delta and a CA flight. The report points out for the umpteenth time the deficiencies of the control tower; this is a disaster waiting to happen, yet nothing is being done. Instead the government is pre-occupied with small internet café owners who are trying to make an honest living.  This clearly shows how much the people that you voted for care about your lives and the lives of your visiting relatives and the Guyanese people at large.

They will wait until disaster happens then cast blame. We will hear how much they have done since 1992, and a sincere apology to the relatives of those affected. Then after that there will be an inquiry which will find nothing and after that business as usual. At the next elections we will vote for them again.

Life goes on in the land of the six races.
