The F&H shipping establishment will host a big dominoes tournament today at the Milrox Sports Bar which is situated at Breda and Hadfield Streets (behind the Brickdam Police Station).

Some nine teams will battle for prizes totalling $100,000.

The teams are Wild Bunch, Pressure Point, Blue Bird, Turning Point, West Side, Doubles, Upset, Strikers and hosts F&H Supremes.

First place winners will receive $50,000 and a trophy while the second and third placed teams will receive $30,000 and $20,000 respectively.

The competition consists of two rounds, the first round of which will see six teams eliminated while the three remaining teams will battle in a “sudden death” final round.

Proprietor of F&H Shipping and sponsor of the competition, Fazil Hakh, said he saw that there was a need for more indoor recreational activities which promoted good, clean fun, among individuals adding that he hoped the tournament would help to foster better understanding among the players.

The competition is scheduled to start at noon and there will be no leniency for latecomers.
