GCB encampment for U-19 players

The Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) would be conducting an encampment exercise for 25 potential Under-19 players from the counties of Demerara, Berbice and Essequibo at the GCB hostel, Alberttown from January 26th to 27th.

This is in preparation for the regional TLC Under-19 cricket competition during July-August this year.

Guyana are the defending champions in the three-day format of this competition and the GCB intends to make sure that such a trend is maintained, thus this encampment which is the first of many to be held by the GCB leading up to the tournament.

Those chosen for the encampment which will see the players being involved in an orientation as well as practice and physical conditioning sessions are:

Demerara: Jeetendra Sookdeo, Ryan Rajmangal, Ranole Bourne, Javed Rasheed, Trevon Griffith, Andre Stoll, Totaram Bishun, Leon Scott, Seon Daniels and Dexter Solomon.

Berbice: Harrinarine Chattergoon, Manoj Pooranauth, Anthony Bramble, Naresh Mahadeo, Sahadeo Somai, Keyron Fraser, Jonathan Foo, Seon Hetymyer, Eugene La Fleur, Herman Latcha and Colin Duke.

Essequibo: Royston Alkins, Rovindra Parsram, Dillon Heyliger and Royston Fredericks.

Players are asked to assemble at the hostel at 08:00 hrs on the first morning.
