Neal and Massy tapeball competition continues tomorrow

The Neal and Massy Group’s Inter-Company 15-over-a-side Tapeball Cricket competition enters its third week with four matches tomorrow at the Guyana Softball Cricket Association ground.

Neal and Massy Security Solutions (NMSS) will tackle Geddes Grant ‘A’ in the first match at 09:00 hours and M&D/CCS combined at 11:00 hours.

The third game of the day will bring together DOCOL against AINLIM/Bermudez combined, while the final match of the day will feature Geddes Grant ‘B’ against NMSS.

In results of last Saturday’s second round matches, Ainlim/NMSL brushed aside Docol by seven wickets thanks to a quick-fire unbeaten century by Harold Baboolall.
Batting first, Ainlim/NMSL slammed 200 for three wickets off their allotted 15 overs.

Baboolall struck 111 not out an innings which included 10 sixes and five fours. Asraf Alli supported with 33.

Docol were restricted to 130 for 8 off 15 overs with Vishaul Lakhan capturing three wickets.

Geddes Grant ‘A’ defeated Ainlim/Bermudez by six wickets.
Ainlim/Bermudez was skittled out for 45 in 9.3 overs with Rudy Jairam bagging 3-13.

M&D/CCS nipped past NMSS by three wickets with M&D/CCS scoring 126 for 3 and then restricting their opponents to 123 all out.
Vishual Persaud while Navin Persaud bagged six wickets for the winners.

And Ainlim/NMSL steamrolled Geddes Grant ‘B’ by 95 runs. Ainlim/NMSL scored 125-7 in their allotted 15 overs with Harold Baboolall top scoring with 35 and Danrade Dookie making 22 not out.
Sunesh Maikoo bagged three wickets.

In reply, GGGL were dismissed for 30 in nine overs with Jeremy Amos picking up three wickets.
