That was the case at the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) ground, Bourda, yesterday, where Demerara and Berbice were scheduled to clash in the final round of the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB)/GTM-sponsored Under-19 Inter County limited overs match. The officials decided however, to replay the game tomorrow at the same venue from 0930hrs after rain left the ground unsuitable for play.
Meanwhile, the first day of the Georgetown Cricket Association’s(GCA) Cummings Electrical/ P&P Insurance-sponsored Raymond Panday Memorial second-division competition was also affected by the weather.
This means that Malteenoes Sports Club (MSC) and the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) will now have only two days to see who will be the victor.
