Moore grabs 5-6 in losing effort

The inaugural Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club (RHTYSC)/Guyana Beverages Limited-sponsored Kool Kidz Under-19 Twenty20 competition for secondary schools across Region Six commenced last Friday with Deon Moore grabbing 5-6 in a losing effort for his school, Lower Corentyne Secondary, in one of the six matches played while two were washed out.

At the Area ‘H’ ground, Lower Corentyne Secondary (LCSS) went down to Port Mourant Junior High by eight runs despite the bowling efforts of Moore in a low scoring affair. Port Mourant won the toss and were bowled out for 50 in 13.4 overs with Berbice Under-15 all rounder Lionel Lewis top scoring with 11 while Desmond Crandon was unbeaten on 10. National Under-15 spinner Dominique Ricky supported Moore by taking 2-3……
