Wonder boy Jean-Claude Jeffrey suffered his first defeat whilst Raphael de Groot continued on his path to a match up with top seed Kristian Jeffrey as action in the Woodpecker Products national Junior squash championships continued at the Georgetown Courts Friday night.

Jeffrey went down to his more illustrious opponent Abhishek Singh in a tough encounter 9-6, 4-9, 9-6, 9-6 whilst de Groot continued his golden run by first defeating Javed Rahaman 9-2, 9-0, 10-8 and then Nicholas Naraine 9-4, 9-4, 9-4.
Other winners during the third night of competitive squash included Kayla Jeffrey, who had a double win, her twin Keisha Jeffrey and Jason Ray Khalil.
The finals in all divisions will be contested today.
