The first Ordinary General Meeting (OGM) of the Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) will be held tomorrow at the Board’s office Cheddi B. Jagan Street, New Amsterdam.
All 13 member clubs affiliated to the board are expected to send a representative while West Berbice, Berbice River and Upper Corentyne are expected to have two representatives at the meeting.

High on the agenda will be the drafting of a proposal for the revision of the constitution as well as the development of cricket in the county.

The meeting will also look at competitions, finances and fund raising activities. Also scheduled for discussion will be a proposal to divide the clubs into sub divisions.

At present, Blairmont Community Centre, Bermine, Berbice Police Sports club, Young Warriors, Mount Sinai, Mental Hospital, Rose Hall Community Centre, Albion community Centre, Chesney, Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports club, Port Mourant, Whim National and Kildonan are all member clubs attached with the BCBC.
The present executive of the BCBC headed by Jafferally Asrafali was elected to serve when the last Annual General Meeting (AGM) and elections of office bearers was held on December 30 2007.
