NCN to broadcast recent Caribbean Women’s rugby championship this week

The National Communications Network (NCN) Channel 11 TV, will broadcast the three games that Guyana played to secure second place in the NAWIRA Women’s Championship starting tomorrow.

According to a press release from the Guyana Rugby Football Union yesterday, NCN will broadcast the three games compliments of Demerara Mutual Life and Tropical Rhythm tomorrow, Friday and Saturday staring at 2pm each day.

The first game tomorrow will be the Guyana/Cayman Islands encounter which Guyana won by the 41-0 margin.
The second match will be Guyana versus T&T, which ended 5-5, while the final game will be Guyana’s 13-10 victory against Jamaica. The tournament was won by Trinidad and Tobago on superior aggregate of points scored for and against them, which had to be tabulated since they were tied with Guyana on eight points (three wins, one draw).
