Milerock and Winners Connection were in winners’ row when the Upper Demerara Football Association (UDFA) first-division Coca Cola football competition continued on Sunday at the Mackenzie Sports Club ground.

In the other match of the double header, Winners Connection, although not showing too much of a great connection with the ball, managed to slip one past Netrockers through Ryan Crandon in the 16th minute.

On Friday, Silver Shatters and Netrockers match ended because of  bad light with Netrockers leading 2-1 when the game was abandoned after the 75th minute.

In the other game, Amelia’s Ward blew Eagles United out with a 4-1 whipping.

Ezero Green opened the scoring early when he got one past the goal-keeper in the 6th minute while Marlon Simmons’s  32nd minute goal gave his side a 2-0 lead at lemon time.

Upon resumption Carlos Grant and Seon Campbell slotted home two more goals in the 57th and 65th minutes respectively while Dick France spoiled the night for Amelia Ward’s goal-keeper when he scratched on his previously clean sheet in the 87th minute.
