Linden’s Top XX and Entertainment Source have joined forces to organize a Futsal football tournament for teams affiliated to the Upper Demerara Football Association (UDFA).

The tournament which will be played on a knock out basis at the Christianburg hard court will commence on Saturday, June 14 with four matches being played each night and will climax three weeks later on July 5.

Several attractive prizes will be up for grabs with spectators being a part of the promotional aspect of the competition.  With a first prize of $100,000.00 and a trophy teams will be displaying their best players, especially with the attractive prizes of $50,000.00 for the best dribble and most memorable goals respectively.

The second- placed team will be rewarded with a trophy and $50,000.00 whilst the third-placed team will pocket $25,000.00 and a trophy.

Added to those is the Most Valuable Player prize of $10,000.00, a pair of boots and a trophy.

Football fans attending matches will have the chance to win over $90,000.00 worth of prizes that are up for grabs in the category of most energetic fan, female goal scoring competition and a doving competition just to name a few.

Team briefing on this competition will be held on Thursday June 12 at Barrow’s Restaurant and Lounge from 1800hrs.
