Keifer Robin registered five emphatic victories at the Marian Academy School auditorium to win the Rising Sun Judo Club Novices tournament.

Robin dominated among yellow and white belts which featured six other participants and was awarded a yellow belt for his efforts.

He had apparently missed the recent grading exams because of school commitments and competed in the tournament as a white belt.

Apart from having the most victories, Robin also had the fastest time of throwing his opponent to the floor to claim victory (13 seconds) and was awarded the Fastest Ippon trophy.

Finishing second was Erin Ramphaul with four victories followed by Rajir Singh and Collin Gomes respectively.
