Bank of Guyana managers take the lead

Bank of Guyana (BOG) managers took a comfortable lead after the first round of the three-way aggregate dominoes series against their counterparts from Neal and Massy and Republic Bank Ltd. played last Friday at Neal and Massy Sports Club.

The BOG side tallied 84 games to beat into second position Neal and Massy with 77 games while Republic Bank ended on the carpet with 70 games.

Nicola James led the way for the Central Bank players with 17 games while Jacklyn Blackman supported with 16.

Natasha Fitzpatrick top scored for Neal and Massy with 17 games while Cheryl Fung-A-Fat and Charles Sookram made 14 games each.

Terrance Archer led the way for Republic Bank with 16 games while Carla Roberts and Jadoonauth “Jadoo” Persaud made 13 games each.

Bank of Guyana’s Wilfred Austin who played all six sittings contrinuted 26 games  while Richard Wilkinson of Neal and Massy inflicted the first love of the competition on Rose Langevine of  Republic Bank.

The second round will be hosted by Bank of Guyana tomorrow at their Roof Garden starting at  6pm.

Bank of Guyana and Neal and Massy will also compete at whist. The final round will be played next Friday at RBL Sports Club at Waterloo and New Market Streets.
